At Base31, our commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and engaging spaces for families and the community continues to guide everything we do. Over the past year, our Sensory Garden, Aviators Garden, and surrounding areas have undergone significant remediation and revitalization, and we are excited to share the progress made so far.

For more than 80 years, Building 42 has stood as a quiet witness to history—first as the epicentre of morale-boosting social activity for young airmen during World War II, later as a family home, and now as a vibrant gathering space for the local community and visitors alike.

The National Air Force Museum of Canada and Base31 are thrilled to announce an exciting partnership celebrating Lancaster KB 882. Beginning March 18, 2024,  the first phase of this partnership will see the NAFMC transporting retired Royal Canadian Air Force Lancaster KB 882 to Base31 in Picton, Ontario.
