Ticketing Policy

Meaning of Base31:

In these conditions, “Base31” refers collectively to:


• Base31 Partners Inc.

• PEC Community Partners Inc.

• Base31 F+B Inc.


and their respective employees, agents, contractors, vendors, successors, and assigns.


Conditions of Sale:

Accessing or using Base31’s online ticketing service indicates your acceptance of the following terms and conditions and your agreement to be bound by them.

By purchasing Base31 event tickets using the Base31 online ticketing service, you, on behalf of yourself and any ticket holder using a ticket purchased by you, agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before accessing or using this service.

Base31 uses third-party ticketing and payment processing providers, including Tixly, Stripe, and Square to facilitate ticket sales and payments. These providers may collect and process personal and payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies.


Ticket License:

Each ticket purchased pursuant to these conditions is a revocable, conditional license granted by Base31 and its programming partners. Base31 may, in its sole discretion, revoke this license at any time and for any reason.

By presenting a ticket to Base31, the ticket permits you to:

• enter the publicly accessible areas of the venue on the date specified on the ticket

• attend the event listed on the ticket

• sit or stand, as applicable, in the location identified on the ticket

Event Information and Admission:

Artists, programs, dates, and event pricing are subject to change without notice.

If an event is cancelled, Base31 will refund the face value of the ticket purchased. Service fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Processing fees will be refunded or retained in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable third-party payment provider.

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund of the face value of the ticket within a specified timeframe communicated by Base31. Service fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Processing fees will be refunded or retained in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable third-party payment provider.

Except as stated in these conditions, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. You agree not to evade or circumvent refund prohibitions, including by seeking a chargeback from your credit card provider.

When additional performances of an event are added after tickets have gone on sale, previously purchased tickets are not eligible for exchange or transfer to the newly added performance. All ticket purchases remain valid only for the date and time originally selected at the time of purchase.

EXCEPTIONS:
Outdoor Summer Camp and PA Day Activities:


• Tickets may be transferred to another participant up to 14 days before a camp begins, subject to availability

• Tickets may be refunded up to 50% of the base price (excluding fees and service charges) if cancellation is received at least 14 days before the camp begins

• From 13 days to 2 days before the camp begins, tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another available date, subject to availability

• Transfers cannot be approved on the first day of camp


Weather and Outdoor Events:

Some Base31 events take place outdoors and may proceed in a variety of weather conditions. Events will generally proceed rain or shine unless conditions pose a risk to the safety of guests, staff, or performers.

If weather or other environmental conditions require an event to be delayed, modified, or cancelled, Base31 will communicate updates as soon as possible. Refunds or credits, if offered, will be determined at the sole discretion of Base31.


Event Arrival and Entry:

Performances begin at the listed start time. Doors typically open one hour to ninety minutes before the scheduled performance time.

For scheduled experiences, guests must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start time.

Free or general admission events are limited to venue capacity. General admission seating is available on a first-come, first-seated basis.

Base31 reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse admission by refunding the ticket price.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the event. Re-entry may be restricted if you leave the venue.

For Drill Hall events, there is a strict no re-entry policy once a guest exits the venue at the main entrance/exit. Guests who leave the venue will not be permitted to re-enter.

Base31 may expel any person whose conduct is deemed objectionable. Expulsion cancels the ticket and the ticket holder forfeits any claim to a refund.

TICKET DESCRIPTIONS:

General Admission Standing/Seating - Drill Hall
General Admission Standing or Seating tickets include either standing or seated areas and limited first-come, first-served seating. Please avoid saving seats for guests who have not yet arrived.

Reserved Seating - Drill Hall:

Reserved seating is arranged in rows. Guests may be seated with other attendees on either side of their seats.

Club Reserved Seating - Drill Hall:
Reserved seating is arranged at tables of four. Guests sitting in the Club section are provided with bar table service. Guests purchasing fewer than four tickets may be seated with other attendees.


Accessibility and Support Persons:

Base31 is committed to providing accessible experiences.

All venues are wheelchair accessible. Accessible seating and support person accommodations are available.

Accessible seating is reserved for guests requiring these accommodations and will be held until a reasonable time prior to the event. Any unclaimed accessible seating may be released for general sale based on demand. Base31 will continue to make reasonable efforts to accommodate guests requiring accessible seating or support person tickets at any time, subject to availability.

Guests requiring accessible seating or support person accommodations are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance or contact our team to ensure availability.

Venue Policies:

Due to fire code regulations, sitting in aisles is not permitted.

Admission is subject to compliance with applicable laws, by-laws, venue rules, and staff instructions.


Pricing:

All prices and fees listed are in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice.

Tickets may be subject to additional service fees, which will be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. All prices and fees are subject to applicable taxes, including Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)


Promotional Offers:

Special ticket offers may occasionally be provided. These offers are:

• personal and non-transferable
• subject to availability
• not combinable with other offers
• not applicable to previously purchased tickets

Offers may expire without notice.


Ticket Delivery:

Tickets will be delivered digitally via email once payment confirmation has been received. Tickets may also be accessed through your ticketing account.

In some cases, tickets may be held for pickup at the venue box office under the Will Call list. For these tickets, only the cardholder who purchased them may pick them up. The cardholder must present the credit card used for purchase and valid photo ID.


Credit Card Approval:

All orders are subject to credit card authorization and billing address verification.


Ticket Limits:

Certain events may have ticket purchase limits. Orders exceeding limits may be cancelled without notice.

Orders associated with the same name, email address, billing address, credit card, or other identifying information may be considered part of the same order.


Ticket Transfers:

Unless otherwise restricted by the event organizer, tickets may be transferred to another individual using the ticketing platform or by providing the digital ticket to the new attendee.

The original purchaser remains responsible for ensuring the recipient complies with these terms and conditions.


Ticket Resale:

Tickets may not be resold above face value or through unauthorized resale platforms. Base31 reserves the right to cancel tickets that are resold or transferred in violation of these terms.


Ticket Scanning:

Tickets are uniquely numbered and validated upon entry. Attempts to reuse or duplicate tickets may result in refusal of entry and investigation by event staff.


Ticket Holders:

Every person attending a ticketed event must possess a valid ticket.


Photography, Recording and Media:

Unauthorized audio or video recording of performances is strictly prohibited.

Mobile phones used for personal use are permitted unless otherwise indicated.

Base31 may photograph, film, or record events and audiences for promotional or archival purposes. By entering a Base31 venue, you consent to being photographed or recorded and to the use of your image or likeness by Base31 without compensation.


Security and Bag Check:

Small bags and purses may be searched upon entry. The following items are prohibited:

• weapons of any kind
• illegal drugs or substances
• outside alcohol
• outside food or beverage
• fireworks or incendiary materials
• laser pointers
• noisemakers
• pepper spray or mace
• professional cameras or recording equipment
• drones
• large backpacks or bags
• animals or pets (excluding service animals)

Additional items deemed unsafe by security may also be prohibited.


Alcohol Service and Intoxication:

Base31 venues may serve alcohol. All alcohol service is subject to Ontario liquor laws and responsible service practices.

Base31 reserves the right to refuse alcohol service or deny admission to any individual who appears intoxicated or whose behavior may pose a risk to themselves or others.

Guests who become intoxicated or behave in a disruptive or unsafe manner may be removed from the premises without refund.


Risk and Liability:

Attending events involves certain risks, including risk of injury, illness, property damage, or death.

By attending a Base31 event, you assume all risks associated with attendance and waive all claims against Base31 and its programming partners arising from such risks.


Limitation of Liability:

Base31’s maximum liability to you under any legal theory shall not exceed the amount paid for the ticket excluding service fees.


Force Majeure:

Base31 shall not be held liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from events beyond its reasonable control. These events may include, but are not limited to:

• severe weather
• natural disasters
• public health emergencies
• government restrictions
• labour disputes
• power outages
• technical failures
• acts of terrorism or security threats


In such circumstances, Base31 may cancel, postpone, or modify events without additional liability beyond ticket value.
