About the Venue
Base31 is a 70-acre cultural playground, once home to a WWII air force training facility, is now reimagined as a place for art, music, history, food, and connection. It’s buzzing with creativity and purpose, celebrating what came before while making space for what’s next. Whether you're here for the music, the food, or just to see what’s new, you’ll find it across what we call the B31 District - your go-to for good times and great company.
Built in 1940 as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan, this site holds generations of stories. Today, its historic buildings and open spaces are evolving with intention, shaped by a long-term vision. What’s emerging is a place where culture, community life, and connected neighbourhoods come together.
Across the 70-acre site, historic spaces are being reimagined. Concerts, public art, food experiences, tours, and play areas now bring energy to what we call the District.
Accessing the Site
Located in Prince Edward County, B31 District is easily accessible by car, bike and public transit. Drop in, explore at your own pace, and stay as long as you like.
Follow signage upon arrival and start your visit at The Commissary - your hub for information, tours, and weekend programming.
