The Ontario Society of Artists New Members Exhibition celebrates artists newly elected into one of Canada’s longest-standing and most respected professional arts organizations. Founded in 1872, the Ontario Society of Artists is Canada’s longest continuing art society and has played a significant role in the development and support of professional visual arts practice in Ontario.

A one-day, boot-stompin’ takeover of the B31 District. The Pretty Excellent Country Music Festival returns for the third year in a row, bringing big sounds, cold drinks, and just the right amount of yeehaw.

In 1980, Lola earned her Commercial Pilot license and became one of the first few professional female pilots in Canada. She worked as a supervising instructor at private flight schools and DeHavilland Flight Safety, a charter/medevac pilot for private companies, and flew a scheduled passenger service on the Twin Otter for the Ontario Government. Her last flight test was on the DeHavilland DASH8.
