Accessibility matters at B31 District. As the site continues to evolve, we are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, supported, and able to participate fully. From how you move through the site to how events are experienced, accessibility is part of how we plan, build, and operate each day.
How we’re making the site more accessible
Accessibility remains a priority across physical spaces, programming, and visitor experience at he District. Located on a former WWII air training base, many buildings and public areas are being actively revitalized, with ongoing improvements made to increase access and ease of use.
We are transparent about where the site is today and where work is still underway. Our goal is to ensure the District can be enjoyed by as many people as possible, and we welcome questions, feedback, and accommodation requests at any time.
Getting Around
The District is a large, open site where accessibility is considered across public spaces, pathways, and event areas. As revitalization work continues, improvements are made to support ease of movement throughout the site.
The site is largely flat, allowing visitors to explore without steep inclines or declines. Some roads and walkways are partially gravel, and visitors are encouraged to take care while moving through the site.
Service animals
Service animals are welcome throughout the District. Guests attending events with a service animal are encouraged to contact the Ticketing Phone Line in advance so accommodations can be confirmed where needed.
Accessible venues and event support
Accessibility considerations are built into event planning across the District. Accessible seating is available at select venues and can be arranged in advance. Complimentary tickets for support persons are available by contacting the Ticketing Phone Line.
