Since retiring, she has turned to writing, publishing a series of children’s books inspired by her experiences with the Horse Sense herd—now totaling seven titles available on Amazon.
Micky is the founder of Horse Sense Equine Guidance, a FEEL (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning) facility in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Alongside her four horses—Henry, Tig, Tango, and Apollo—and a lively mix of other animals (including dogs, cats, snakes, fish, rodents, and a pot-bellied pig named Mirabella), she offers unique, animal-guided learning experiences rooted in connection and curiosity.
