The Hunt

It is a powerful image. A pack of wolves actively pursue a buck. The Canadian sculptor says his artistic process is ‘ignited by the natural world.' The five wolves running towards the deer are hand forged out of steel and welded; the buck image is cut from a large steel plate. Hall’s realistic work is designed to engage the viewer in contemplating the emotions evoked by our natural flight or fight response. What does it feel like to be the hunter or the hunted?
