Sirius No 2

Named after the brightest star in the night sky, Sirius is a monumental outdoor sculpture by Canadian artist Viktor Mitic. Forged from corten steel, the work’s weathered rust-coloured patina enhances its dynamic interplay of angular geometry and fluid abstraction. The sculpture shifts visually as viewers move around it, creating changing relationships between form, balance, and space.

Mitic’s practice explores the tension between industrial materiality and expressive movement, inviting both contemplation and curiosity.
