Make A Wish

Danielle Reddick's works are site specific. This installation, created for Base 31, is infused with hope for the future. The pods, made of bronze mesh, are harbingers of light. They photosynthesize sunbeams into wishes and dreams. Inspired by the Little Prince, the figure of a boy emerges from the bronze pods, holding his Star as high as he is able and beckoning onlookers to cast their wishes into the universe.
