A new chapter
for a storied site

Today, concert nights bring live music to the hangars that once held aircraft. People come for food at the Commissary, wellness mornings and afternoons on the B31 District Art Walk, a sculpture trail that winds across the grounds. In summer, kids spend their days at camp exploring a site full of stories. Base31 has become part of the rhythm of life in Prince Edward County.

Prince Edward County has long been a destination for artists, makers and creative thinkers. At B31 District, we’re big believers that art belongs everywhere, not just inside a gallery.

Not sure where to start when you arrive at Base31 District? With 70 acres to explore, there’s a lot to discover. The best way to experience the District is to give yourself time to wander, grab a bite, catch some live music and see where the day takes you.

Partnership launches with affordable homeownership townhouses planned for Hilltop Village at Base31

Where History Meets Contemporary Canadian Art

As Base31 continues to grow and evolve, we believe it is important to keep the broader community informed and provide clear, accessible information about the Community Association and its role in Base31’s long-term development. The following information explains why the Community Association was created, how it will operate and what it means for Base31 and the broader Prince Edward County community.

As Base31 continues to evolve, we remain focused on strengthening the places where our community gathers. In the coming weeks, the northwest quadrant of the District will undergo a transformation—shaping it into a more flexible, cohesive, and welcoming part of the site.
